August 5 – Star Wars X-Wing

Image being in command of a small fleet of Rebel Alliance X-Wing fighters or a squad of Imperial Tie Fighters.  And then going in to battle in space.  You can do exactly that August 5 at 7:30pm.  We will have 2 tables set up for 1v1 or 2v2 skirmishes.  We have the base set in stock as well as A-Wings, Tie Inteceptors, the Millennium Falcon and Boba Fett’s Slave1.

Come by on Monday, August 5 at 7:30pm.

  • August 12 – King of Tokyo,
  • August 19 – Settlers of Catan
  • August 26 – Lords of Waterdeep

We will still have our regular Wednesday Open Gaming nights! See you over the summer!

No Mini’s Sunday

Just a quick note to let you know that I will be unable to provide tables for miniatures play on January 27.  We are holding a special pre-release event for the next Magic the Gathering set (called Gatecrash).  If things go really well Sunday, this may occur 4 times a year – each time a new set is released for Magic.  I’ll be sure to keep you informed.

I know many of you look forward to coming to Battlegrounds Gaming to roll some dice and pit your armies against another’s.  Please accept my apologies and  I hope to see you next Sunday.

X-Wing Minis Kessel Run

Fantasy Flight Games’ Star Wars X-Wing Miniature games is a hit!  With new figures coming out in early 2013, Battlegrounds Gaming and FFG are running swiss-style tournament on December 16, 2013 where players have a chance to win one of the new ships: Millennium Falcon, Slave 1, A-Wing, or Tie Interceptor.
