Riftbound, the TCG based on League of Legends video game, celebrates the release of it’s 2nd set this weekend, Spiritforged! We have special Pre-Rift events Friday, Feb 6 (FULL) and Sunday, Feb 8.

There is confusion about reservations for these events. I apologize for not making it clear. The only way to reserve a spot it is at https://battlegrounds-gaming.shoplightspeed.com/tcgs/riftbound/riftbound-event/ . Registration on the Riftbound website does not guarantee a spot in the event.

Our allocation for these events was capped at 16 players, well below what we had hopped to receive. Therefore, some players who registered through Riftbound will not be able to get a Spiritforged Pre-Rift kit for Friday’s event. There are a few spots still open for Sunday’s event.

Our Magic single card inventory is now mostly restored. Purchases can be made at: https://battlegroundsct.tcgplayerpro.com/ for in store pick up.

Roads are still bad and the parking lot still needs to be cleared. Battlegrounds Gaming well be closed Monday, January 26, 2026. We will open for regular hours Tuesday, January 27.

Due to incoming weather conditions, Battlegrounds Gaming will be closed Sunday, January 25, 2026. The events we had scheduled will now take place, Sunday, February 1.

RIFTBOUND SKIRMISH will now start at 12pm. Please arrive by 11:45am.

LORCANA WHISPERS IN THE WELL SET CHAMPIONSHIP will now start at 12:30pm. Please arrive by 12:15pm.

Our Sundays in January are loaded! There’s not enough room to host a Regional Championship Qualifier so we’re going to do a Monday holiday: Martin Luther King Day on January 19, 2026.

NOTE: Lorwyn Eclipsed cards will be legal for this event! You can purchase Lorwyn Eclipsed cards here. And I will be buying during prerelease weekend so check back starting the evening of Friday, January 16. I will send paypal requests for payment of Lorwyn Eclipsed cards. If payment isn’t received in a timely manner, I’ll cancel the order so cards can be available for other players. You may also stop in the shop to pay. 
Orders with Lorwyn Eclipsed cards can not be picked up until January 16.
